Glee for Kids

“Glee for Kids” is a great way for students in 2nd to 8th grade to experience what it is like to perform in front of an audience while being part of a fun upbeat group. For older students planning to join the high school choirs, it is also a wonderful way for students to discover what choir is like at the high school level. Participants will learn a song and a dance to go with it in a Glee-like style and will perform with the CGBHS Rocket Choir in “Rockets on Broadway”.

This workshop is for boys and girls in grades 2 to 8 (not limited to CGB students - invite your friends!). At practices, students will work with Rocket Choir students to learn a song and dance. Please send a clearly labeled water bottle with your student as this will be a high energy camp.

Fridays, Oct 11th & 18th: 5th-8th grade 3:00-5:30, 2nd-4th grade 3:30-5:30

(Rocket Choir students will help ES students find their way to the MS commons)

Registration is $25 for one student and $15 for each additional student from the same household. The cost includes t-shirt, snacks, and 4 ticket vouchers per household for the Rockets on Broadway performance (performers do not need tickets). Additional tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 each.

Performances are as follows:

Mon, Oct 21 2:15pm – dress rehearsal for elementary school audience*

Mon, Oct 21 7:00pm – Rockets on Broadway performance with Rocket Choir

*participants who do not attend CGB do not need to attend the dress rehearsal performance

Participants will be asked to wear their camp t-shirt and black pants, if possible, for performances. Black pants are not a requirement. It is not necessary to go out and buy something new.

To register, return the registration form and payment to any of the CGB offices. Please put payment (make checks out to CGBHS Choirs) in an envelope with the registration form and print “attention Mrs. Ruona” on the envelope. Do not combine payment with any other payment to the school.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Ruona at or 920-668-8686 Ext 527.
