HS Technology Teacher
(920) 668-8686 ext. 524
I took a non-traditional route to becoming a Tech Ed teacher at Cedar Grove-Belgium High School. After graduating from CGB in 1998 I entered the workforce and worked in a precision tool grinding shop for 24 years. With that experience I was excited to be given the opportunity to begin my teaching career in 2021. I enjoy solving problems, working with my hands, and building a strong work ethic in the students. I am excited to learn and grow in my teaching as the students learn and grow in my classes. I teach a variety of classes that include Small Engines, Intro to Metals, Automotive Upkeep, Advanced Manufacturing and Construction Systems. I also coach Middle School Track and Field at CGB.
My goal as a teacher is to show each student the value of learning new skills, how to apply new skills, and how to find value in anything that they do. I enjoy building relationships with students and learning more about what they enjoy. I want my students to view big obstacles as a series of little solvable problems and take those problem solving skills to their other classes and eventually the workforce.
