Welcome to the Hatfield Elite training website. I am Mr. Hatfield the founder of Hatfield Elite training. I have been leading this training since 1987. I teach Eighth grade students U.S. History from colonial times through the Civil War and into the Reconstruction period. The training includes increasing knowledge of the major events that impacted our nation’s development, increasing knowledge of how our government works, understanding the principles and values on which our founding fathers based our system of government, improving on the ability to think critically about history, politics, economics as they relate to these historic events and the present, and evaluating how we as a country and as individuals are doing at living out the ideas that are the basis of our nation.

I graduated from UW - Eau Claire, in 1982. I did my student teaching at Eau Claire Memorial, taught in Gilman for 3 years and have been here at Cedar Grove - Belgium School District since 1987. I am proud to now be teaching some of my student’s students.

I am currently an assistant coach of the High School football team and have been a proud member of the Cedar Grove - Belgium coaching staff for all of the 31 years I have been here. I began my coaching career while in college in 1979 coaching both football and wrestling at Eau Claire Memorial, Gilman and Cedar Grove - Belgium. (I no longer coach wrestling - but still enjoy the sport, now as a spectator.)

I started my teaching career because of my desire to have a positive effect on my students as some of my teachers had a positive effect on me. This continues to be my desire and passion.
