Welcome to Cedar Grove - Belgium Middle School!

Our staff is committed to assisting all students to achieve their intellectual, physical, social and emotional potential through a challenging and relevant curriculum.

Cedar Grove-Belgium Middle school consists of grades 5 through 8 where all students are placed in a team setting that enables teachers to enrich learning through integrated lessons and units.

We became a middle school during the 1999-2000 school year after building a new high school to house grades 9 through 12. We have 39 people who serve our students every day: 30 certified staff members, 7 support staff, 1 counselor and 1 administrator. We offer a core set of classes along with exploratory classes including art, band, choir, computer, Spanish, health, family and consumer education, music and physical education. In addition we provide clubs, athletics, student council, Spring a New Interest Day, student to student mentoring, award programs, service learning, behavioral incentives and a special 8^th grade ceremony, all which allow students opportunities to become involved and experience success.

The Cedar Grove - Belgium Middle School experience is a rewarding and challenging adventure. The collaboration among staff, students, parents and community members is a vital component to the success of our students. We are constantly assessing our progress and implementing changes to improve student achievement. We are very proud of our school and its dedication to educational excellence.
