  Catch 22

You want your child to grow up healthy, happy and successful.   You – the parent – are the key.

Regardless of time spent in school, the influences of television and peer pressure, you are the most important person in your child’s life. You are his/her key to success.

What can you do that has a real, positive impact?

One sure winner is "Catch 22".   Catch your child for 22 minutes a day, every day.

Talk with them, take a walk, do the dishes together. Communicate in words, smiles and the way you spend your time together that he/she is a priority in your life.

Maybe you spend more than 22 minutes a day now with your child. You may want to look over the last week:

  • How much time were you together?

  • When you were together, was your mind on your child or on other things?

  • Did your child get to choose how you spent part of your time together?

  • Did you both have fun?

  • Did you learn something new about one another?

·      The time your child spends with you is powerful. You are your child’s first and most important teacher. The lessons your child learns from you about values, people and herself/himself will last a lifetime.
