This year 8th Grade Art

Each section meets everyday for a quarter. They have weekly drawing assignments do at the end of each week for 8 weeks. The assignments are:

Week 1: Object of Choice
Week 2: Landscape
Week 3: Blind contour draying of choice
Week 4: Sports item
Week 5: Weathered Rocks
Week 6: One point perspective
Week 7: 1/2 of a picture from magazine full page with a person
Week 8: 3 transparent objects still life
These weekly drawings should have thought and time put into them with shading!

Armatures (the study of the body)
Mask Making
Tesselations
Grid Art
Printing making
Colored Pencil
Calligraphy
Pen & Ink Watercolor Landscape
Coiling
Hand made paper
Painting on fabric
Tee Shirts (new this year)
