Elementary School

The elementary school offers a complete instructional program beginning with four year old Kindergarten and proceeding through 4th grade. Four-year old Kindergarten is half-day program. The District offers both full and half-day five-year old Kindergarten. Reading/ language arts, mathematics, science and social studies are the core of the academic program based on the Wisconsin State Academic Standards. Reading Recovery is used in the first grade to address students who have delays in reading.

Middle School

The middle school (grades 5-8) is organized into academic teams from the core areas -–English, math, science and social studies. Exploratory courses include art, computer, health, physical education, Family and Consumer Education, reading and Spanish. Band and chorus are also available to all students. Cooperative learning and thematic units are emphasized in the core areas of instruction.

High School

The high school facility was first occupied in August 1999 with work completed during the 1999-2000 school year.  The building covers approximately 110,000 sq. ft. of floor space and includes “state of the art” technology.

Five computer labs are located within the building for: library/research, technology (CAD), business instruction, computer science, and an open lab.  Athletic facilities include a three-stage gym, a running track and several outdoor athletic areas.

The student enrollment is approximately 300 with room for a total of 450 students.  Twenty-seven certified teachers provide comprehensive course offerings in the basic required courses, plus college prep, advanced placement and vocational course offerings.  The school also features an outstanding fine arts program.

The district has an articulation agreement with surrounding colleges and universities.  A wide range of extracurricular/co-curricular activities are also available for students.
