Elementary Special Education:
The elementary special education team works with children Kindergarten through 4th grade to help close the gap in academic, behavior and speech/language skills. Our team implements an inclusive model whenever possible, while offering a full continuum of services to meet the needs of the individual student. Students have a variety of learning tools such as Smart boards, computers, and software programs such as My Reading Coach, Kurzweil and Moby Math to help close the gap in skills deficits. The team is involved in our RTI process at the Tier IV level and provides suggestions for curricular strategies with all students.
